Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the culmination of the Rite of Christian Initiation and complete the graces we initially receive at our Baptism.  Through confirmation, we are anointed and sealed fully into the Holy Spirit, becoming fully fledged members of the Catholic Church.  Those seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation are pledging to themselves, to God, and to their Brothers and Sisters in the Church a commitment to living a life in Jesus Christ.

Preparations for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation are available for youth through the CFF program once they are at least 6th grade age.  For those who are above the age of 13, the OLG RCIA program is available for those seeking this Sacrament.  Preparation for confirmation is traditionally a 2 year course of study, regardless if enrolled in CFF, OLG school sacramental program, or RCIA programs.

For more information on registering for Sacramental preparation, please submit an online referral form and Faith Formation team will contact you shortly.
